Elder Scrolls 6 major announcement drops as Bethesda celebrates series' 30th anniversary

The Elder Scrolls VIis making outstanding progress with its development, as it’s reported that somewhere out there, people are playing it.

Bethesda’shighly-anticipated RPG,The Elder Scrolls VIhas been a point of contempt amongst fans for years now, largely due to it being announced years before it even entered development.

Check out the teaser trailer for the game below

Work on the project was presumably put on the backburner to make way forStarfield, a brand-new IP that didn’t excite players in the way Bethesda probably expected.

WhileStarfieldis still being regularly updated in addition to plans for DLC expansions and a possiblePlayStation5 port, the majority of work on the game is finished, and has paved the way forThe Elder Scrolls VIto enter full-on development.

It seems steady progress has been made in that regard, as it’sreportedthe game, while still in its infancy, has now reached the point where early builds are playable.

This comes just in time for theElder Scrollsseries’ 30th anniversary, which Bethesda has celebrated with some anniversary tweets.

While playable versions of the game are out there somewhere fans are yet to see any actual gameplay, as the only official teaser we were shown was a simply panning shot of an unknown kingdom and a logo.

In all likelihood the game will continue the formula the majority of Bethesda RPGs use, being a blend of first-person and third-person with plenty of side content and other things to do in the world.

Despite being a minor update it’s nice to see development is coming along smoothly, unlike other high-priority releases likeGTA VIwhich rumours say is very close to getting a delayed release due to development falling behind.
