Already, 2025 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for video games.
I’m imagining thatGrand Theft Auto VIwill dominate most of the year’s chatter but it’s far from being the only highly anticipated release.
Professor Layton and the New World of Steamis up there for me.

Dare I say, I already sense that it could be a tight race for Game of the Year.
I’m also hugely excited for the launch ofFable- and I know I’m not alone in that.

I’m hesitant to get too caught up in the hype though at this stage. After all,Fable’s launch is quite a way away. We need to pace ourselves.
With that in mind, now might be the perfect time to revisit a favourite of yesteryear likeFable 2.
Did you know that you can now experience a graphically overhauled version of the game?
ICYMI: Take a look atFable’s latest trailer below.
If you load upFable 2on yourXbox, you’ll be able to run it with 4K graphics thanks to Xbox’s inbuilt FPS boost technology.

If you didn’t know, FPS boost allows older Xbox titles to run at a higher framerate and/or resolution on Xbox Series X/S, often unlocking 60fps and giving the appearance that the game has been remastered.
Take a look at the game in 4K glory for yourself below.
“Great video. You caught the beauty of this game perfectly,” wrote one viewer.
