Fallout: Vault 13was cancelled for several reasons including “burnout” and “difficulty in recruiting” but it’s understandable that not all of the team wanted to see production end.

Thankfully, those creators will be working alongside Project Arroyo, which aims to remake Fallout 2.

The two projects actually shared a lot of talent and assets and the news came via Discord that theProject Arroyoteam will continue work and collaboration with the Vault 13 crew.

Talking publicly on theDiscordforum lead dialogue editor, Jon, said “We’re not going anywhere. Our development pathway is completely different.”

When asked if Project Arroyo could benefit from the cancellation of Vault 13, Jon said, “At that point, we may be given permission to incorporate their materials.”

This would mean using the talents from the Vault 13 project to move forward with their own, hopefully finding a common ground to work together.

The Fallout games are so beloved that millions of fans would love to see them remade. However, it’s low on this list for Bethesda who are toiling away onThe Elder Scrolls VIandFallout 5currently.
