
Fallout’s renaissance continues. Prime Video’s TV adaptation of the Fallout IP couldn’t have gone any better.
Not only has it delighted viewers, both those familiar and unfamiliar with the franchise previously, it’s led to an unprecedented renewed level of interest in the games themselves.
Bethesdarecently announced that it had seen an influx ofaround 5 million playersacross severalFallouttitles since the TV show debuted - the show itself amassing 65 million viewers in two weeks of availability.

Some Fallout fans even reported being unable to get their hands on a physical copy ofFallout 4due to widespread sell-outs.
It’s a shame that Bethesda doesn’t have a full new release to drop or even tease amidst this wave of interest.

It goes without saying that we know thatFallout 5is coming but given that it’s due to launch afterThe Elder Scrolls VI, it could very well be a decade away.
As for other Fallout projects, Howard did tease that there are a couple of “other things” that are yet to be revealed.
This comes at a time where it’s rumoured that Bethesda could bring in another studio to help out.
“I would say we’ve always had those conversations,” Howard explained. “We did a lot of things for the show. It might seem like, hey, there isn’t a big new game out, but we added content into76for the show.76has a really great map expansion that’s coming this summer with Skyline Valley. So, we look at what we’re doing with the franchise and then we say, do we still feel good about it?”
