What if Bethesda remadeFallout 3? That’s the question being asked here. Would they follow their original designs, or would they stick closer to the concept artwork?
It seems there’s a split in the community, at least according to a Reddit thread that posed this exact question on a possible remake of the classicFallout.
Fallout 76continues to go from strength to strength with recent updates.

HadBethesdagone down this route, we’d have had a very art deco vibe spliced with the traditional 1950s sci-fi.
“Wow, is this real concept art fromFallout 3? Looks amazing, all of it!”says the top replyfrom diegosynth.
“I love the ruined art deco design,”said another fan.
It’s very different and would have created a unique atmosphere for the game.

Changing what we originally got, however, doesn’t sit well with some. It had a very stark visual design that felt ‘end of the world.’
As one fan puts it, “I feel like it’s better they have a remake stick to the tone of the original. That atmosphere and aesthetic still is my favorite from any Fallout games in terms of feeling apocalyptic.”
SlimJimothy_expresseda similar sentiment, “Very interesting and different artwork compared to what’s in the game, but then it wouldn’t beFallout 3.”
An interesting point comes from WhiteGreenSamuraiwho said, “Or rather make a new game with those aesthetics. Not everything has to be a remake…”

This would make a lot of sense, especially if Bethesda drifted across America to set the next game in New York.
The art deco style would work well in Manhattan, making it feel distant from what we’ve seen before.
This all brings up a good point, where does it stop being a remake and become something new?

They make a point, to be honest.
