Luckily the modding community haven’t given up on it yet, recently releasing what we’d call the definitiveFallout 4mod, that eliminates almost all bugs and glitches, as well as enriching the gameplay and bringing it up to more modern standards.
CalledFixes and Technical Enhancements, it combines around 220 bug-fixing and gameplay mods, and alters items, enemies, NPCs, companions, weapons, VFX and much much more. Other improvements include enemy-level scaling, to keep the challenge consistent across all areas of the game, boosted movement speed, and enhanced settlements.
The one responsible for the combined mod, TheSoundOfSnow, said the aim was to release something that would “fix bugs, make changes that make sense, and introduce subtle improvements for more satisfying gameplay.”
