Fallout 4: In The Flesh is a free, Resident Evil-inspired expansion

Some would say thatFallout 4already has its unnerving moments – like the first time you meet a Deathclaw rampaging towards you. Well, if you’re one of those who believe it’s scary enough, this expansion isn’t for you.

What you’re going to face is so shocking, in fact, that NexusMods won’t let you look at the page without logging in first. Yet, when you get to said page, there’s not anything disturbing that initially pops out.

Experience a moment (a very brief moment) of safety with theFallout 4modded intro

You’ll “delve into madness” while exploring a secret institution, your character forced to “face the evil that dwells within”. As for what you’ll actually see there, the modder leaves it for you to venture inside and discover the true horror for yourselves, ideally with no companions in tow.

Those who’ve already dealt with the evil have praised themod, saying, “Played it a couple of hours ago – wow, what a great atmosphere, really enjoyed it.” A basic but straight to the point review of the entertainment waiting for anyone who likes a good (jump)scare.

If you prefer your expansions to be larger and less frightening,Fallout: Londonis the better choice for you; even more so now aBaldur’s Gate 3cast member has joined.

Unfortunately, this mod isn’t quite ready and raring to go just yet, such is its size. Nevertheless, it’s one that’s better suited to those who want an immersive experience without the fear of being scared every time they venture around a corner.

Fallout 4is still bursting with content, both official and fan-made, withIn the Fleshhelping to cater to the horror fans who can’t go a day or two without scaring themselves silly. I get it – I love a solid horror experience, too.
