It’s fair to say that the Fallout series has had a bit of a boom lately in large part due to the success of the recent Amazon Studios adaptation.
The success of theFalloutTV seriesfollows in the footsteps of HBO’sThe Last of Usbeing a prime example of how a live-action adaptation of a video game should be done. On Rotten Tomatoes,Falloutwas met withhigh critical acclaimwith an impressive score of 94%, at the time of writing this article.

That boom will likely increase later this month when we finally get the long-awaitedfree new-genFallout 4upgradeon PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. As for the current player numbers, according toSteamDB,Fallout 4sits at number four in the top 10 trending chart.
Now, the 24-hour peak sits at an impressive 93,294 concurrent players which isn’t bad for a game that was launched eight years ago. As I alluded to earlier, that number will likely increase later this month and it will be interesting to see whatFallout 4achieves on PC alone.
Furthermore,Fallout 4isn’t the only game in the series benefiting from the recent Amazon Studios adaptation becauseFallout 3 - Game of the Year Editionsits at number two in the Steam trending charts, the OGFalloutis number three,Fallout: New Vegasis number five,Fallout 76has reached 6 and evenFallout Shelteris placed at number 10.
