
The heat has somewhat died down following the premiere of Prime Video’sFalloutseries, but there are still plenty of us enjoying Bethesda’s acclaimed video game franchise.
The reception toFalloutcouldn’t have been any better, with the show proving to be hugely entertaining for both seasoned franchise fans and newcomers.
This prompted a renewed sense of interest in the IP. So much so that in the days following the show’s premiere,Bethesdaannounced that they’dwelcomed in 5 million playersacross various Fallout titles.

The vast majority of those will have been inFallout 4, which recently welcomed its new-gen update, but some have opted to dive back intoFallout: New VegasandFallout 76.
To digress for just a moment,Fallout 76will soon offer players a very exciting development as from next year, in 2025, you’llbe able to play as a Ghoul.
This is perfect for those of you who’ve been obsessing over Walton Goggins’ Ghoul ever since the TV show premiered.
As for how Ghoul gameplay will differ from the norm, we don’t yet know but we’ll be keeping an eye on further updates.
