Fallout 4 players blast ‘hardly noticeable’ improved graphics in new-gen update

Yesterday saw the long-awaited arrival ofFallout 4’snew-gen update which promised a whole lot of fixes. However, players are already disappointed with the seemingly unnoticeable upgrades.

Following the ongoing hype as a result ofAmazon Prime’shit adaptation,Fallout,both new and old players are returning to the wastelands of Bethesda’s long-running series.

WithFallout 4recently hitting itshighest concurrent playersin eight years and the series as a whole surpassing5 million playersin just one day, it is going from strength to strength.

As a result, Bethesda’snew-gen updateforFallout 4came at the perfect time with the free download adding PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S support.

However, the update has not been received as well asBethesdawould have hoped as players are already disappointed with the PS5’s “hardly noticeable” graphic improvements. Not only that, but the patch as a whole isunplayablefor some.

Oops! However, it seemed like this was the general consensus with another adding: “Wow, I don’t think I spotted a single difference.”

On the other hand, those with a more trained eye did notice some differences, especially in regards to lighting. They were also quick to point out that the biggest difference would be in how smoothFallout 4would now run courtesy of the 60fps support.

Needless to say, with a free new-gen update, you can’t complain too much and with many fans returning to the game, it is nice to seeFallout 4get its revival.
