Fallout 4 warned they should avoid lockpicking safes

Surviving in the post-nuclear wasteland is never easy and survival skills are a must. However, oneFallout 4player advises against showing off those lockpicking skills.

However, in typical game fashion, your missing son is in no hurry to be found and you can spend countless hours battling mutated monsters, jumping around in power armour and flirting with the local ghoul.

Posted on r/Fallout, the original postersays: “Lockpicking is the most meaningless feature of Fallout.

The whole exercise is just trivial and lazy for a franchise this big. I’m disappointed thatBethesdahas basically left this unchanged for … 10 years?”

They go on to say that the loot found in safes is not worth the bother of unlocking them at all and would only see picking locks to be worth the trouble if you are roleplaying as a thief.

One said: “I agree with the lockpicking, it’s kind of hard in the beginning of the game when you’re a young player, but later game is easy. Coming fromDying Light, a zombie survival game where lockpicking is hard and annoying, it’s pretty uninspiring.”
