Fallout 4’s new-gen update is already proving to be unplayable for some users

Oh yes, it’s been a hot minute, butBethesdahas patched the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

While much of the news surroundingFallout’srenewed famehas been positive, there are potholes in the road causing some problems for fans. Chiefly, forPS Plususers.

There’s a lot of confusion and anger over theFallout 4update not being playable for some members, despite them being led to believe the contrary.

“I’m in the UK with PS Plus Premium and it’s not available for me,” one subscriberrevealed. “The game still shows up as £15.99.”

You’d think, given that PS Plus Premium is meant to be… well, premium… that the new update would be waiting there for said user free of charge.

Another user posted, “Same for me, I’m the UK too. I’m annoyed since I sold my Pip-Boy Edition (including game) a few months back since the game was included with PS plus.”

Oh dear. They added, “Guess we’ve gotta wait some more.”

We’re as in the dark as you.

Bethesda shared yet another postsaying, “Fallout 4next-gen update will be available for PS Plus Extra members. We do not have any information regarding PS5 Catalogue or PS Plus Essentials.”

But that’s it. Hopefully players eventually get the update they were promised, though it seems like wishful thinking – we guess it’s time to watch the world burn and keep saying “okey dokey”.
