Fallout 4has a special place in my heart, as it was one of the first action RPGs I completed having decided to try something other than repeatedly playing Dragon Age or Mass Effect. For that reason alone, I’ll always love it. However, there’s no denying I wantFallout 5as much as the next fan.
It turns out that we’ll be getting that next instalment earlier than expected, however, it’s not as straightforward as it sounds. Fans have been demanding some kind ofFalloutnews regarding the next game for quite some time now, to the point that Bethesda has had to respond to those demands andassure gamers it’s coming.
Fallout 5is exciting and all, butFallout New Vegasis where it’s at for maximum entertainment value
And those assurances are proving true, but not as we expected. You see, whileFallout 5is dropping sooner than we thought, it’s not in the way we envisioned.

According to a recent article, the creators behind the upcomingFalloutTVseries see the show asFallout 5and have referred to it as such.
“We didn’t start from a place of characters from the games," said Graham Wagner, the executive producer of the show. “We set things after. We kind of told ourselves, this is Fallout 5, this is just another installation, and we’re starting with fresh snow.”
