I hate to say it, but Fallout just simply isn’t Bethesda’s main focus right now.
We’re all itching to get our hands onFallout5, and I’m sure developers are aware of that but so too do they have a lot on their plates at the present moment.
Later today,Starfield’s first full story expansion,Shattered Space, is set to launch - and I doubt that’s the last of the game’s post-launch support.

Plenty of devs will still be beavering away on that game, with the vast majority hard at work on the studio’s next major release,The Elder Scrolls VI.
It’s been six years since the game was announced, and we have no idea how development is progressing.
It’s believed that a version of it is playable internally, but that’s about the extent of the information that’s surfaced.
It’s widely assumed thatThe Elder Scrolls VIis still several years away from release, puttingFallout 5in the far future.

“Honestly that’s fine, just make it good and take your time,”wroteLeast_Inflation_3725.
I want to make it clear that Prime Video hasn’t announced a launch date for season two so Head-Airline6273’s countdown is a tad premature.

That being said, I would say a 2026 target is likely as Prime Video took two years between the first and second season ofThe Rings of Power.
It’s hard to specify beyond that but at the end of the day, it’s something to look forward to and that’s what we’re all after.
