Players that logged intoFallout 76today realised that they’ve received an unannounced freebie, courtesy of the developers.

Although this reward probably isn’t too exciting forFallout 76veterans, those who have jumped into the game following the new Gleaming Depths update are probably thrilled with the freebie.
It’ll be even better for those who received the game for Christmas, as jumping in with double XP now will let you power level through the game’s early quests and let you get to the new end-game content ASAP.
Bethesda has stated that the Gleaming Depths update “represents the largest change to Fallout 76 endgame experience yet,” so you’ll need that extra boost to get through to the new juicy content they have in store for you.

Plus, even veteranFallout 76players will likely be a little thankful for the gift, as lots of players are probably planning on starting up a new character so they can play as a ghoul for the first time.
Don’t fret if you’re not too bothered about double XP though, as you won’t have to wait long for the next freebie.
They’ll probably drop an unscheduled freebie again at some point between all of that too, so check back here in just under a week to see if there’s any extra freebies to grab.
