However, it seems that upon launch the game is barely playable, and many of those who have awaited the launch are finding lists of bugs and balancing issues.
And while many are sympathetic to the development team which is made up of fans and community creators, the mod isn’t being reviewed well on GOG.
Another Redditorpoints out, “People don’t understand that it’s a community project that doesn’t have a QA team.”

Which is a good point. Bethesda themselves have a huge QA team and their games still launch with bugs and problems, it’s no surprise this huge mod has issues.
One user, Lia_Llama,takes issuewith the marketing of the mod saying, “This mod felt more like it was advertised as a product not a work in progress.”
When something is marketed as one of the biggest mods to launch for the franchise, it’s going to get expectations up.
Add on to this the hype surrounding Fallout on the whole since the Amazon show debuted and you’re bound to have disgruntled fans who want a perfect, newFalloutproduct.
