Well, that is seemingly not the case especially when it comes toFallout’stalented modding community with the likes of the highly anticipatedFallout: Londonbeing delayedfollowing Bethesda’s recent upgrade announcement.
So when Bethesda announced that we’re finally being treated to the free new-gen upgrade this month, it meant thatFallout: Londonhad to be delayed and the mod developers are understandably, not happy.
Whenspeaking tothe BBC, the project lead onFallout: Londonsays that the mod teams feel “blindsided” due to the lack of communication from Bethesda with the sudden release date announcement of the upgrade. “So that has, for lack of a better term, sort of screwed us over, somewhat,” said Dean Carter.

To put things in perspective,Fallout: Londonhas been in development for around four years, and has already suffered several delays. Its most recent release date was 23 April 2024, that was until Bethesda announced earlier this month that the free upgrade is now releasing on 25 April, leaving the modders no time to make the necessary updates for the expansion-sized mod.
No new release date has been announced forFallout: Londonbut Dean Carter has asked fans to be patient while the modders work on making the necessary adjustments to compensate for theFallout 4new-gen upgrade.
