Frostpunk 2is a city-survival game onSteam, and is set around 30 years after a cataclysmic event turned the Earth into a freezing cold wasteland. It’s basically the opposite ofFallout, which left the world scorching hot, so much so that you’d almost wish for a nuclear winter to roll around.

It’s also incredibly similar toCities: Skylines, though instead of building up your settlement into a mighty metropolis your main priority will be just keeping everyone alive.
As you can imagine the resources are scarce but there are plenty of mouths to feed, and the chilly weather isn’t doing anyone any good either. While you’ll be sinking plenty of time into advancing your settlement’s technology and, hopefully, finding solutions to the crisis, you’ll also have to keep several factions at bay.
Frostpunk 2is seemingly a good twist on the city-building genre, adding a bit more depth than just where you want to stick your houses and how you’re going to power them.

Unfortunately you can’t play it yet as we’re still awaiting an official launch. To add insult to injury there’s no specific launch date to go off aside from a vague “2024” release window. That being said, it’s one to add to your wishlist, as it looks like it’ll be good fun when it’s available.
