Fallout meets Death Stranding in new open-world RPG

While it’s easy to get lost in the latest AAA game releases likeHelldivers 2andFinal Fantasy VII: Rebirth, you should always keep an eye on the potential rising stars, like this upcomingPCgame.

We gaveFinal Fantasy VII: Rebirtha 10/10! Take a look at our video review below

The game is calledA Silent Desolation, and it’s eerily similar toDeath Strandingbut with a bit ofFallout, and even someSilent Hill, mixed in for good measure.

While it sounds like just another post-apocalyptic survival game, the way it stands out from the crowd is through its atmosphere.

If you take a look at the screenshots and gameplay video it’s hard to not feel at least a little bit curious about the world you’ll be exploring.

Looking past the crafting and foraging for supplies the world is desolate and covered in fog, hence the SIlent Hill comparison.

The enemies look bizarre too, and while they’re incredibly threatening you can’t help but wonder what they are and what they’re doing here, as well as where all the humans flew off to.

From what we’ve seen so farA Silent Desolationlooks like it’ll be a fine open-world survival RPG, but it also looks like it’ll be heavy on the in-game lore, with plenty of mysteries to solve provided players are keen to put the work into solving the mystery.

At the time of writing there’s no release date, but hopefully it launches sometime this year.
