One fan project is a huge expansion for the game that not only improves upon the graphics and design, but also adds loads of new content to interact with and explore, it’s calledFallout: New California.

The mod itself pulls the story back around 21 years before the events ofNew Vegas,and puts players in the shoes of a new protagonist. Instead of the courier you’ll instead step into the role of the Star Player.
You then get to play a traditional Fallout experience, with consequences tha change the landscape of the entire New California wasteland. You’ll talk and fight with several factions, all of which will have their own allegiances and missions for you to undertake. There are also several new perks to unlock, many of which can be combo’d into some pretty powerful gameplay builds.
Overall it’s an impressive expansion mod, and the best part is it’s easily compatible with PCs so you won’t have to jump through many hoops to get it working, provided you’ve got a decent piece of hardware.
