We just got some exciting news regarding the second season of Amazon’s upcomingFalloutTV show, from lead actress Ella Purnell hersel– oh, wait a second, I’m just receiving an update from Twitter’s Community Notes team that this is baloney.
Alright, let’s work backwards a little. User @BethesdaBeyond on Twitter, who I should add is not actually affiliated withBethesda,posted thisa few days ago.

One of the images in the Tweet is a screencap ofthis post over on Bluesky, from user @realellapurnell.
“I’ve been told to playFallout New Vegas,” reads @realellapurnell’s post, “Since I do love some source materials and this may or may not be prep for a certain job I may or may not be on soon.”
Now, you can probably tell from the Community Note on @BethesdaBeyond’s Tweet that this isn’t actually the real Ella Purnell.

Ella Purnell has spoken at length about how she playedFallout 4in preparation for her role in theFalloutTV show and (spoilers incoming for the season one finale of said TV show) there was that cliffhanger at the end of the episode ‘The Beginning’.
