
We love the vibes this Xbox exclusive is giving – it’sFallout: New VegasmeetsSkyrim, arguably two of the best Bethesda games to ever grace our consoles.
So, what game is it that we’re referring to? Why, it’sAvowed, of course.

The Obsidian Entertainment RPG wasshown at the Xbox Showcasein early June of this year after scarcely any news about the title since its announcement in 2020. The impressive update not only gave us a brief glimpse into the atmospheric lands of the game but also provided us with an idea of a potential launch window.

Since then, we’ve had 2024 marked on our calendars as the yearXbox’sAvowedbecomes a reality. Knowing the rough timeframe has naturally led to some trying to better pinpoint what half of the year the game will launch, with recent speculation having slated it for a Q1 2024 release.
Although the promisingMicrosofttitle has no firmer date as of yet, we can at least comfort ourselves with the knowledge that what we’ve seen from other first-person epic adventures, like inThe Elder Scrolls.

We assume thatAvowedwon’t simply just be a carbon copy of what’s gone before, nevertheless, it’ll likely have plenty of similarities to other fantasy RPGs, a fact we welcome as avid fans of Elder Scrolls.

Avowedwill release on Xbox Series X and S in 2024, unless otherwise announced.
