Goodsprings is a key location inFallout: New Vegaswhere clean water can be found following the Great War and while the place also known as the “quiet town” is not shy of trouble it’s a place where life can survive, a rarity in its harsh post-apocalyptic wasteland.

As shown across social media, fans turned out in the masses at the event showcasing epic cosplays and even recreated scenes from the game such as the ‘Battle of Goodsprings’ between the New California Republic and Caesar’s Legion.

Two of my favourite cosplays have to be the eerie Think Tank, a robot made up of three TVs that starred in the ‘Old World Blues’ DLC and the simple but effective Todd Howard mask with scrap cardboard that reads “buySkyrim” referring to the seemingly endless releases of the fantasy RPG.

I think what makes this event incredible (other than its passionate fans) is the fact that it shows how popularFallout: New Vegasis, despite releasing over 14 years ago in 2010 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. I can’t wait to see how the festival grows next year and beyond.

Fallout: New Vegasis backwards compatible with modern Xbox consoles and is included in a Game Pass subscription at no extra cost.
