The Fallout series is not only a firm favourite RPG under the Bethesda umbrella but it’s also one of the most favoured franchises of time that has been going strong for nearly three decades.
Other than being a fantastic series in its own right offering immersive gameplay mechanics, enticing worlds, interesting characters and deadly foes, theFalloutseries is one of the best-supported games in the modding community andFallout: New Vegasis no exception.

One of the most highly anticipated mods is coming toFallout 4this year,Fallout: London. “As a divergence from previous official titles in the series,Fallout: Londonis not set in America. Visiting a totally new setting allows us to explore totally new cultures which have not homogenised with their American counterparts. It also allows us to explore pre-war European history, and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class-structured society of pre-war Britain,” explained the team behind the mod.

Now, we have another massive mod to look forward to and this time it’s taken fromFallout: New Vegas, and it’s going to be totallyfree. Themodin question isFallout: Nuevo Méxicoand it will allow players to pick between human or ghoul origins, which makes for an interesting concept.Fallout: Nuevo Méxicois set five years after the events of the originalFalloutreleased in 1997 onPC.
Zapshock went on to explain why unlikeFallout: Britainwhich usesFallout 4, they chooseFallout: New VegasforFallout: Nuevo México, and it’s largely due to the scripting capabilities of the 2010 post-apocalyptic RPG.
“I think one of the main thingsFallout: New Vegasgave us was scripting capabilities. TheFallout: New VegasScript Extender has other extensions, like JIP LN, Lutana, and all these different sorts of Script Extender downloadable content that people can get, and that all expand the code, so we can do more scripting magic.”
