I suppose you could go playFallout 76, which I’m reliably informed is a much better game than it used to be. But if you’re craving a single-player adventure, you’ll want to turn to the modders of the world.
Webb Productions Entertainment is working on an incredible total conversion mod forFallout: New VegascalledFallout: The Odyssey, and has even made an amazing trailer/short film usingUnreal Engine 5. The film is designed to drum up hype for the mod - which it absolutely does.
It is just worth noting that while this short film uses Unreal Engine 5, the mod itself makes use ofNew Vegas, and as such will more or less look likeNew Vegasand not an Unreal Engine 5 project. Just so your expectations are in check.
Fallout: The Odysseytakes place in Alaska during the year 2297, where the reformed Enclave is making plans for “what might be the most ambitious event in human history since the great war”. Players enter the fray as a lone wanderer caught up in the Enclave’s last stand against the Brotherhood of Steel.
