Vault Boy slowly types something into a computer, before flashing us all a cheeky smile and a big thumbs-up as the release date appears on screen.

Announced all the way back in 2020, the collaboration between Bethesda and Amazon will tell an original story about the post-apocalyptic wasteland we’ve all grown accustomed to over the years while including plenty of stuff featured in the games, like the now iconicPower Armour, and the Ghoulsas two examples.

Aleaked trailerfor the series appeared online not too long ago, and there have been plenty ofbehind-the-scenes imagesdepicting some of the brilliant-looking sets and costumes. Most of it looks like it’s come straight out of one of the games, so it’ll likely look amazing when it finally premieres.

Hopefully, the show will tide us over until we get a new Fallout game,Fallout 5, which will supposedly be released sometime afterThe Elder Scrolls VI, though it’s anyone’s guess as to when that’ll come out.

TheFalloutTV show will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on 12 April 2024, and could potentially be renewed for additional seasons if critic and fan reception is positive.
