It seems like it’s probably only a matter a time before a full fan-made remake ofFar Cry 1is developed, following an enormous leak of its source code.

Given that the source code hasn’t been available for that long, it remains to be seen what fans will end up producing with it. It’s not clear how this actually happened, either - much like thatold Sega information leak which surfaced online recently, it’s baffling how the most intriguing things can suddenly appear years after they were relevant.
Many Far Cry fans are unhappy with the supposedly leaked details aboutFar Cry: Rise, but we’re yet to get any official information from Ubisoft to suggest that it even exists, so there’s not much to be concerned about right now.
