Some fans are perhaps getting a bit tired ofUbisoft’stried and tested formula of the Far Cry series, but there is no doubt when the next game arrives, it will be a big deal for its community. That being said, whenFar Cry7is eventually announced, there’s every chance that it could be a next-gen title.

The last game to be released in the popular series isFar Cry 6which launched in 2021 onPC,PlayStationandXbox. Usually, it can take two to three years for a sequel to arrive, so it’s a bit strange that Ubisoft hasn’t announcedFar Cry 7yet.

That being said, aFar Cry 7rumour has got fans talking and it’s related to it potentially having a time limit perhaps similar to what we’ve seen inDead Rising.

“I don’t know about you, but as a long-time Far Cry fan, I won’t be buying this one, if this rumour is true. I have zero interest in time trials,” they continued. “I’m into these games for the story and the freedom of exploration.”
“I would hate feeling rushed and think it would ruin the entire experience of what Far Cry means to me. This is especially sad, being that I hold the unpopular opinion that Far Cry games keep getting better, withFar Cry 6being my favourite so far,” they concluded.

It should be taken into account that this time limit concept is merely speculation at this time, so it should be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.
