While the modding community have done a stellar job in keeping the game alive with new gameplay additions and enhancements, one thing they can’t fix is the story, often seen as one of the weaker parts of the game. While it’s not exactlybadit doesn’t live up to theHarry Pottertales it’s based on, and despite being packed with references and new lore it wouldn’t win many awards for its narrative alone. Its success comes from it being a Harry Potter game, not a gripping story or compelling characters.
However, something many won’t have seen coming is some fans sayingHarry Potter: Magic Awakened, a mobile card game, has a better story than Hogwarts Legacy.
Admittedly a mobile game having a better story than a high-budget RPG is a tough pill to swallow, but I suppose everybody is entitled to their opinion.

HopefullyHogwarts Legacy 2improves on the story of its predecessor, hopefully with some branching paths for good and dark wizards in addition to actual consequences for the choices you make along the way.
