Game Boy Advance RPG is returning on new-gen consoles after 20 years

The Game Boy Advance was home to many incredible titles back in its day and with many of them now making their way to the Nintendo Switch, this hit entry is no exception.

However, one slightly more underrated title wasSigma Star Saga.

Now, ahead of its 20th anniversary, it has been reported thatSigma Star Sagawill be arriving to modern-day platforms, including PC. We are currently unsure which platforms it will be but we can assume theNintendo Switchwill be a definite.

Following the launch of the Carbon Engine from Limited Run Games, this is just another Game Boy title which has been given a new lease of life in recent years. This is alongside classics that have recently been made available for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.

Although we don’t know too many more details aboutSigma Star Saga,we do know that Limited Run Games will be releasing a reproduction cartridge of the title allowing for players to access it on the original Game Boy Advance hardware.

Despite information being scarce, we do know thatSigma Star Sagareceived mainly positive reviews when it was first released in 2005 and was praised for its unique take on the shooter genre.

In other news, aspiritual successorforAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsis set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch as early as next year. It seems the Nintendo console is heading for another resurgence thanks to these highly anticipated titles.
