A recent report has revealed thatGame of Thronesis back but this time a movie format is in the works at Warner Bros.
Kicking off in 2011 and coming to a conclusion in 2019,Game of Thronescemented itself as one of the best television shows of all time.

Add in some sex, dragons and a whole lot of blood and you got yourself a television show that is still talked about to this day.
However, with its eighth and final season being a huge disappointment to fans, it seems as though there is a redemption arc on the cards thanks to a recent announcement.
It appears thatWarner Bros.has been quietly working on aGame of Thronesmoviewith HBO/Max.
Sources at the Hollywood Reporterclaimthat the project is still in the very early stages and has no filmmaker, cast or writer attached just yet. So yes, very early stages.

With HBO originally adamant that it did not want to go down the movie path, it seems it has been persuaded.
This makes sense considering show writers David Benioff and Dan Weiss and ASOIAF author Martin were both interested in the story hitting the big screen.
The love forGame of Thronescontinues to this day with HBO’s prequel seriesHouse of the Dragonrecently airing its second season.
Not only that but another prequel series titledA Knight of the Seven Kingdomsis aiming for a 2025 release.

It is still early days for theGame of Thronesmovie but let us hope it improves on the dreaded final season of the show.
