Gamers delighted that 2023 has been dominated by single-player titles

As the end of the year approaches, and everyone starts thinking about which game will be crowned Game Of The Year, many have looked back on the extraordinary games that have been released so far.

There have been some phenomenal AAA releases acrossXbox,PlayStation,NintendoandPCplatforms, likeThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom,Starfield,Sea of Starsand many, many more.

There’s seemingly been something for everyone, but no one has lucked out more than players who favour a good old-fashioned single-player game. Plenty of others are on the horizon too, like theSuper Mario RPGremake,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and theCyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Expansion.

That’s not to say there haven’t been some solid multiplayer titles as well, but you can’t deny that 2023 has been a brilliant year for those who want to follow a good story away from the hustle and bustle of online servers.

Fans agreed, saying that while single-player games have always been popular, 2023 has housed some incredible titles so far.
