They said it couldn’t be done. They said 2023 was the biggest year for gaming in decades, and that it couldn’t possibly be topped.
Okay, I’m not entirely sure who “they” are, but the sentiment was certainly there. I mean, how do you follow a year that containedBaldur’s Gate 3, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2,The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, andSuper Mario Wonder?
Whether or not 2024 actually surpassed 2023 is a matter of opinion, but nobody can argue that this year hasn’t come pretty damn close. This past year has seen gamers buried under an avalanche of top-quality AAA blockbusters, thought-provoking indies, and all manner of other goodies.
Here at GAMINGbible we thought it was about time we put together our very own awards, since literally everybody else and their mum is doing it. Our expert panel of judges (the people who work here that I cornered while they were trying to make their morning brew) have agreed on the nominees across six categories. But we wantyou, dear reader, to choose the winners in each category.
