It’s been a short while since we’ve seen a main entry in the Gears of War series withGears 5initially being released in 2019 forPCand Xbox One, before receiving a free new-gen upgrade the following year forXboxSeries X/S. We did get the turn-based tactical gameGears Tacticsin 2020 but that was more of a spin-off than being a main game.
It’s also safe to assume thatGears 6will be coming exclusively to PC and Xbox Series X/S. It may also be the first entry in the series to leave the Xbox One behind.
Hopefully, all will be revealed this Sunday 9 June during the Xbox Games Showcase and we’ll keep you informed when all the details officially drop. Until then, take all leaks with a pinch of salt.
