Did someone say samurai dinosaurs? A developer who worked on Ghost of Tsushima is now working on a new game and it looks like an absolute blast from the footage out there.
Jean Nguyen, known as JeanAnimate, has a personal project in creative stages and it’s possibly the most bonkers thing you’ll see today. The game is called Dino-Sword, which deserves awards for the quality of pun, and you can get a lot from the name.
Ghost of Tsushima also has plenty of swords

As a huge dinosaur fan (my favourite is the Stegosaurus, thanks for asking) and a fan of sword combat, I can only expect good things from such a crossover. In the footagewe see a gorgeous mist rolling through an empty rocky area, a spinosaurus clutching a gigantic sword in its jaws facing off against a much larger spinosaurus who seems to be unarmed from what we can see through the mist.
I really hope this is an actual game, rather than just a fun video. We need more farcical nonsense in gaming and this seems to be nudging into the same sphere as Crab Champions, which pits shotgun-wielding crabs against each other. If it could bemultiplayertoo, it would be a dream.
Nothing beats animals holding weapons, it walks a fine line between adorable and all out violence. Even in the recent party game, Party Animals, where a corgi can bash an otter with a frying pan, the visuals lead to plenty of laughs.
More animals with weapons, but also, more dinosaur games, please.
