2022’sBullet TrainactorAndrew Kojihas previously said that he’d love to play the protagonist forGhost of Tsushima, Jin Sakai, which would be an excellent casting choice. Yet, if there were to be one potential better casting choice it would be the voice of Jin Sakai himself from the PlayStation game, Daisuke Tsuji. “If I get to play Jin in the live-actionGhost of Tsushima, let it be known that I fully agree to doing butt nudity,”said the actorin a tweet quite literally willing to bare all in the adaptation.
What’s more, much like Andrew Koji, Daisuke Tsuji is no stranger to live-action performances. However, Tsuji’s likeness is also used in theGhost of Tsushimavideo game. So casting Tsuji in the role of the live-action movie makes all the sense in the world. Seeing as we’re talking casting choices, can we also get Hiroyuki Sanada to play Jin’s uncle, Lord Shimura, please?
A release date for the live-actionGhost of Tsushimamovie has not been announced at the time of writing.
