Ghost Of Tsushima: Legends officially announced

In the wake of animated video game adaptations such asCyberpunk: Edgerunnersand more recently,Arcane,it seems as though studios are wanting to get in on the action.

This time, it isGhost of Tsushima’s turn.

Not to be confused with theGhost of Tsushima: Legendsmultiplayer component of the same name.

Arriving to Crunchyroll in 2027,Ghost of Tsushima: Legendswas announced during yesterday’s CES 2025 press event where the main focus was the ever-growing popularity of anime.

The official press releasereadsas follows: “Takanobu Mizuno (Star Wars: Visions ‘The Duel’) will direct the series at Kamikaze Douga, with Gen Urobuchi writing the story composition. The anime will be produced in collaboration with Aniplex, withSonyMusic serving as music and soundtrack partner. Additional staff and cast were not announced at the time of the panel.”

“Ghost of Tsushima’s rich, immersive world and its fantasticalLegendsmode based on Japanese mythology provide the perfect canvas for this project,” added Asad Qizilbash, head of PlayStation Productions.
