A new FX limited series debuting on Disney+ has received a 100% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Easily a highlight of 2024, even this early in the year, the show even has a 95% from the audience making it a smash-hit.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ll be watching this show just as soon as I’ve got time to binge it. Even the posters for the show make it look like an epic must-watch. If you’re a fan of traditional Japanese tales, this is going to be one to watch as soon as possible.Looking to another criticwe learn that “The painstaking effort to root this vast saga in the specificities of era and culture is part of what makes Shōgun so compelling.”
Let’s just hope that theGhost of Tsushimaadaptation does half as well asShogunand shows that more games can be easily transported to the screen and have viewers in awe.
