This news comes after Sony found itself in hot water last week after revealingHelldivers 2players on Steam would soonneed to connectto a PSN account. With this meaning that millions of players would lose access, the decision wassoon overturned.

However, withHelldivers 2andGhost of Tsushimaboth needing access to a PSN account, this could mean this will become a common feature in the future. As you can imagine, this will not go down well with a lot of players.

To avoid the same backlash, it seems as though Sucker Punch were ready to assure its fans thatGhost of Tsushima’ssingle-player will be unaffected in aTweetissued on 3 May.
