We’re rapidly approaching the end of 2023. Ahead of us lies a whole new year of game releases but if you’re totally in the dark about what’s on the way, allow us to drop a recommendation.
We all know about the heavy hitters. I’m talking about games likeSuicide Squad: Kill The Justice League,Final FantasyVI Rebirth, andBlack Myth: Wukong. It’s no secret that they’re all on the way in 2024, but what about the games that fly under the radar? Well, if you’re a fan of both the Ghost Recon andCall of Dutyfranchises, you’re probably going to want to keep an eye onEXFIL, an upcoming first-person shooter from developer Misultin Studios.
Black Myth: Wukongis shaping up nicely. Check out the game’s trailer below.
EXFILcombines first-person shooter gameplay with stealth, survival, and battle royale elements in a PvP game where you’re tasked with retrieving intel. Playing against four other teams, players must use their GPS skills in a race to both locate the intel first, and then carefully extract it.

There are three custom maps available - North Woods, Port Lobos, and Camp Osprey - and there are around 12 different weather possibilities and transitions to make each match feel unique. Devs are actively working on adding NPCs, round stats, localisations, and slot inventory in the coming months. The recent playtest has closed but do keep an eye on the game’s Steam page if you’re keen to see more from this project.
