Let me say, it’s a thing of pure beauty.
Whilst watching it, I almost forgot that this was a fan-made project and started to get my hopes up that this was the real deal. Then reality came crashing back down. Yet, while it’s sad that this is still only a glimpse at what could be, it’s one that expertly highlights how in-demand a remake is.
“Man, you’ve officially accomplished what I’ve been dreaming about for years. I hope there is a remaster of this game,” said on YouTuber upon seeing the majesty ofGOWIIusing Unreal Engine 5. Another quickly added, “We SERIOUSLY need a remake of the previous games, ASAP.” Take a look at the video below.
This remake would go so hard, but for now, it’ll remain unmade. Not that it’s all bad news – while 00s Kratos has to live on in blocky graphics, we can at least watch an older, more ticked-offKratos facing Jesus Christ, just like Jacksepticeye predicted. It’s a fun animation that adds another piece of non-canon magic to the franchise, while also hinting at what could happen if the sequels decide to take a different turn. I suspect they won’t, but at least we’ll always have Kratos getting in some solid bants with JC.
