It’s been speculated that the location and theme of the next God of War could be taking us to South Asia.
TheGod of Warseries began in 2005 on thePlayStation2 and since that time, it has become one of Sony’s most popular and profitable flagship brands. In 2018 the series took us away from Greece to Scandinavia and Kratos went from an everyone must-die attitude to something more empathic now that he has a son, namely Atreus.
Check out the God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla trailer below!
Don’t get me wrong, Kratos is still a badass who rips his enemies to shreds, but this more mature god-slayer will at least briefly contemplate what his best course of action will be.

This new version of Kratos might not be everyone’s cup of tea and some believe that theGod of War has gone soft, but for me, it was a necessary growth to help the character evolve along with the series.
FollowingGod of War Ragnarökand its free DLC,Valhalla, fans are wondering what’s next for the series. Some believe that we could be headed toEgyptor even somewhere inSouth America.
However, a YouTuber named JorRaptor believes that Kratos may be headed to India and that possibility has been hinted at right under our noses. In particular, Týr, the Norse God of War is a lot more zen inRagnarökwith a calming aura and is seemingly very much into mindful meditation.
