While it’s been rumoured for quite some time that aGod of WarRagnarökexpansion was in the works, I for one certainly didn’t expect its reveal to drop during the show. Typically,PlayStationholds such reveals for their own State of Play events. Still, it was a pleasant surprise. What made the news even better is that we only had to wait mere days for its release ANDthe DLC is completely free. What a generous festive gift fromSanta Monica Studio. Well,God of War Ragnarök Valhallabecame available yesterday, and it’s already garnering immense praise from players.

Valhallaonly released yesterday so there’s no HowLongToBeat time yet as completion times continue to trickle in but players appear to have taken between three and six hours to tackle the main meat of the game, but many report that there is well over 10 hours of content if you want to see all that is on offer. In comparison,Modern Warfare III’s main campaign comes in at around three to six hours too, but closer to nine hours for full completion. It’s a tight race.
