While ithasn’t aged very well, it’s still a lot of fun to play with some friends, whether it be taking turns playing the singleplayer missions, or going head-to-head on multiplayer, whether it be shootouts, slap fights, or competing for the legendary golden gun.

The title made headlines not too long ago when it wasre-releasedforXbox,PlayStationandNintendoplatforms, and now it’s been the primary inspiration for a spiritual successor,Agent 64: Spies Never Die.

Atrailerwas recently released showcasing some of the gameplay, and it looks glorious as if it had just travelled to the future in a time machine.

It comes complete with an art style that looks almost exactly like GoldenEye 007’s, including the goofy real-life faces printed across the models, and of course, it supports a four-player split-screen co-op, an essential part of any classic shooter.
