As one of the greatest, most-successful games ever made, you’d think Rockstar would like to share some insight into how it put together such a masterpiece, as well as how they followed up with another banger,Red Dead Redemption 2.
Well as it turns out, it did once upon a time, as the developer was reportedly working on a documentary about howGTA Vcame to be.
This would have been very similar toNaughty Dog’sdocumentary aboutThe Last Of UsandThe Last Of Us Part 2, if it had actually gone ahead.

Ned Luke said, “What’s nuts is we had that behind the scenes camera going the whole time and they never did anything with it. That would have been gold.”
Steven Ogg then followed up saying: “I think at one point, didn’t we discuss like how cool to make the making of… so at this point we’d have the documentary on the making of GTA."
Not only would the documentary shed some light on the development of the game, it’d probably also include some cut voice lines that the main trio would have said during the story, making it a sore loss for fans.
PerhapsGTA VIwill spark Rockstar’s creativity and lead to a documentary of that game instead.
