It’s another day which means there’s another Grand Theft Auto rumour, but you might be surprised that it’s not related toGTA VI.
Take a look at the originalGTA IVin action below.
However, rumours of theRed Dead Redemptionremaster/remakeare nothing new. In fact, some of the rumours began circulating in 2022. Sadly, those rumours were apparently squashed with Rockstar Games not only cancelling theRDRremaster/remake but also, reportedly, a remaster ofGTA IV. It was said that Rockstar Games cancelled the two projects so that it could put all focus on thedevelopment ofGrand Theft Auto VI. Yet, when the studio’s website was recently updated, fresh rumours were thrown onto the speculative fire once more. It was reported that both projects were not cancelled butinstead, development was paused.

So, taking all the recent rumours into account, the safest assumption would be that not only is theRed Dead Redemptionremaster/remake on the way, but so too couldGTA IV. Obviously, we should take all rumours and speculation with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. That being said, I am a firm believer that there is no smoke without fire. So as they say, watch this space.
