With Take-Two holding their latest iteration today, you can understand why so many are expecting an update onGTA VI.
We could receive anything … gameplay, screenshots, a delay, or even precisely nothing.
In the meantime, allow me to fill you in on an interestingGTA Vdevelopment.
Rather unexpectedly, one ofGTA V’s longest running mysteries has suddenly been put to rest.

After 11 long years, one ex Rockstar Games developer has finally debunked the Mount Chiliad debacle.
Take a look atGTA VI’s trailer below.
For years and years,GTA Vplayers have been trying to solve the mystery of Mount Chiliad.

In the game, players can find a cryptic map of sorts showing Mount Chiliad, filled with various chambers and symbols.
I can’t even begin to outline all of the possible theories as to what the map leads to. There’s simply too many.
Some suggested that the map might lead to a parallel dimension, whilst others thought of it as something perhaps linked to the occult.
Now, in aninterviewon YouTube channel GTAVIoclock, ex Rockstar Games developer Ben Hinchliffe has opened up about the mystery.

And much to our devastation, Hinchliffe appears to confirm that developers were sending us on a wild goose chase.
“Obviously, there’s always a desire to put in these really complex Easter egg hunts and trails that the really dedicated players will follow,” he explained.
“As with all Easter eggs, sometimes you just put them in to mess with people. They don’t actually do anything. You just mess with people, just to drive them a little bit crazy.”
Will this put a stop to theorising? It should, but I can’t help but feel that plenty will keep plodding on in denial.

That is untilGTA VIprovides us with a new array of mysteries to solve.
I wonder if we’ll still be debating any of those in 11 years time.
