GTA 6 be damned, Mafia: The Old Country just got a major teaser

The nextGTA VItrailer can be put on the back burner for now because it looks like we’re getting a newMafia: The Old Countrytrailer this week.

However, there’s always the possibility ofRockstar Gamesshadow-dropping anew trailer forGTA VIat any point in an attempt to steal the thunder from current Mafia developer Hanger 13.

Following years of speculation,Mafia: The Old Countrywasrevealed during Gamescomthis year and it sent its fanbase into a frenzy. While being the fourth mainline entry in this series, the nextMafiagame will be a prequel to the original game that was released in 2002.

As much excitement as the reveal trailer forMafia: The Old Countrybrought, it was merely cinematic with no gameplay and fans are eager to see what the game looks like in action.

“See you at The Game Awards,” tweeted the Mafia Twitter account following up on the “See more December 2024” as stated in the Gamescom trailer.

“So ready to see more of this game,” replied KYALM1GHTY.

While no release date has been announced yet,Mafia: The Old Countrywill launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
