An upcoming kickstarter game is like if Grand Theft Auto if it was set in the London “Endz,” and it looks great so far.
GTA VIis still a long way off from releasing, possibly even longer if the rumours of a delay are credible, so it’ll be a while before we can commit some open-world crimes once again.

It’s calledENDS, a gritty action-adventure game that’ll hopefully release on modern platforms like theXboxSeries X/S,PlayStation5 andPCif the Kickstarter goes to plan.
Pulling an excerpt from the game’s description, it says: “Not everyone is born special. Some are born with a silver spoon, they’re destined for big houses, nice cars and an inheritance. But for those who are born normal, even surviving is a struggle.”
The screenshots and in-game footage look exceptionally good, and kind of makes us wonder why there hasn’t been a true open world crime game set in London. You could sayWatch Dogs: Legionsort of did that but that was more of a dystopian vigilante game.
So far the game has raised over £10,000 through donations, and is on track to raise even more over the course of the year.

There are a variety of tiers to pledge with, each containing their own perks and rewards depending on how much you donate, ranging from copies of the game and a chance to meet the developers in-person.
ENDSis definitely one to keep an eye on, and while it probably won’t release beforeGTA VIdue to a smaller team thanRockstar Games, it could be a fresh new spin on the genre if it picks up enough steam to launch.
