It’s become a bi-weekly part of my job these days to bring you the latest disturbed ramblings of theGrand Theft Auto VIcommunity, so I should be a little more numb to it at this point.

However, this one… this one might take the cake, guys.

Shout out in advanceto Connor Bennett over on Dexertofor the original story!

Rockstar Gamesannounced the small indie gameGrand Theft Auto VIback in 2022, then they dropped the first trailer for the game on December 4, 2023.

There’s been so many theories about the release date of the nextGTA VItrailer. First, the community started studying the phases of the moon, then they moved on toinventing eventsfor Rockstar to showcase something at, and now - well, now they’re studying suspiciously coloured reflections.

Rockstar Gamesposted a little updateon Twitter regarding the ongoing Heist Challenge inGrand Theft Auto V.Take a look at that image. Completely normal, standard picture, right?

Uh, no, actually (according toseveral replieson Twitter). That’s clearly the Rockstar logo in the water’s reflection, and also the colours sort of look like the poster, and oh my godis that the moon?!

Some people are also tryingto add upthe numbers on the boat to get a date for the trailer, and guys, c’mon - what are we doing here?

I think the obvious answer has been staring us in the face the whole time.GTA VIis up for the Most Anticipated Game at The Game Awards, which is in two weeks time. Rockstar couldn’t ask for an easier lay-up.

If December 13 passes without aGrand Theft Auto VItrailer, then feel free to go back to the crackpot theorising. Until then, relax folks.
